Genuinely it doesn’t sound like it. I feel as though it would’ve been mentioned if he did. I get it- but it gets old going to work and coming home to continue working. Especially with a partner that doesn’t acknowledge the work you do at home. Laundry and dishes and cooking and chores add up and it takes HOURS out of your week, that you already spend most of at work. Having a partner that benefits from your time at home but doesn’t acknowledge the benefits is EXHAUSTING. I’m so grateful that my partner does laundry and cooks and cleans, and realistically it shouldn’t be something so uncommon. But it is. Start asking mothers that you know how their household chores are split up, I’m willing to bet that the answers aren’t so surprising. And then to do all of that and still try to spend some time with the kids??? Or her husband?? No wonder she has a decline in her sex drive, she probably doesn’t even have the time to consider it.
