5. Just so you know asking for open relationship would like telling him it's so bad that you really need sex with other people to be happy.

   Go to couples therapy with him, both of you really need it. He needs to go to proper specialised doctor for ED issues as well even if it's seen as embarassing.

6. A good actor is a good actor. I used to be friends with a guy who invented drug addiction, diagnosed mental conditions, parental abuse and other struggles at one end of the scale – and secret top tier sports trials and music auditions at the other end of the scale – and he made it all up, just to get close to some of the girls in our friend group. He just wanted to appear vulnerable to them – but it was all manipulation.

   I'm not saying that it's 100% this – but why would he say anything at all about this to you? Even if he's not just making it all up – there's a certain level of calculation that comes from dropping small pieces of information on you like this. I really don't have time for the “Wait, I've said too much” technique; because if it isn't just a tall tale; he's trying to get you used to something real that you wouldn't otherwise accept if he just came out and told you.
