Im gonna say this to you mate, im in a 9 yr long relationship. I had something similar, this feeling you have is just to fill what you aren't getting in your current relationship. Everyone is telling you to leave, i say not yet. First dont put that time or effort for your friend. Instead focus on your girl, show her some love and care, make the effort and not because you have to but because you want to. Now its gonna take abit to see results, and complacency can cause these issues you may be talking about so talk to your girl, see what shes missing, see what you're missing. Work on it together. But remember the most important thing. You arent doing this for yourself its for her. And if she does it for you, then I'd say you got a great fighting chance.
