Oof I’d definitely laugh too at just the randomness but also the obviousness of it. She’s been with you for 8 years and probably figured it out the second or 3rd time. She was probably like “no shit Sherlock”, saw that you were serious and then felt super guilty but also confused at how you didn’t know.
After a while of apologizing though, at some point I might become annoyed too. Maybe she thought you knew and had actively worked on it and just resigned herself to the fact that she was never going to be sexually satisfied in the way she once had been but didn’t want to make you feel bad.
