The problems happen when being rude is taken seriously.
I firmly believe that if a couple is committed to each other they can come together to work through nearly everything. First, though, you have to consider if this person is worth the tremendous effort to you. Is this a person that deserves your loyalty through thick and thin? You can be incompatible in a lot of ways but I think it's important that your core values align.
I’m a Massage Therapist, and we never say, suggest, or perform anything sexual with a client ever not even if our clients bring it up in a joking manner. Depending on the school there’s a class called Therapeutic Relationships where we learn to be very aware that clients are in a vulnerable situation on the table and we have to be careful and respectful and do everything we can to ensure clients feel safe, and are properly draped by the sheet/blanket to ensure their comfort and privacy.
Professional Massage in America should never be sexual. You were 100% taken advantage of and should report this ‘business’. It’s very likely this place is a Sex Trafficking ring under the guise of a Massage business.

He sounds very cheap. I have friends who dated cheap, extremely frugal and downright stingy men. Let me tell you always led to the resentment snowballing and misery. It also provided some hilarious stories like when a bf would vemno requesting 4 dollars for coffee.
Wear what you want, laugh it off and explain if anyone asks about it, and let your partner use his own anxiety tools to manage his worries about it.
