Maybe it's anecdotal but I've never seen an open relationship where it's mutually beneficial much less for the guy. At first he'll have his fling but she'll get tired of him and you will find other guys (lots of options) while he'll soon realize his “dating” pool will be nonexistent compared to yours. You'll find a guy that's a good lay and possibly leave him. Tell him to just search forums where guys come out with the shit end of the stick once they ask for this.
