9. Well being insecure, especially when people are making comments, is natural. It’s a natural feeling, and there’s a reason why you’re feeling that way.

   She expressed attraction to you, so that means that she likes you!! I personally wouldn’t worry about it. You can talk to your family and tell them that the jokes are getting old, or ask them to elaborate on their joke and then it won’t be funny anymore because they have to explain it. Pop their bubble in some sort of way, or just directly tell them that it’s not really funny anymore and it’s actually affecting your confidence.

   I feel like it’s normal for guys to hear this though. I’ve heard it happen a lot. In my relationship, my fiancé is attractive, and his family said to him “how did you get her??” Talking about me. We’re on the same level of attractiveness. I think they’re just doing it to flatter your significant other, and make her feel welcomed and liked. But they’re also disregarding your feelings while they’re doing it. They could still compliment her beauty without bringing you down.
