Thank you, I’ll try this approach and just try to give him some space. Walking on eggshells isn’t fun at all and I wish I was a more patient person, but I can be very direct and demanding at times. I just am running on empty at this point.

The problem isn’t fishing, it’s that he’s an asshole.
No parent with a six month old gets a full day for a hobby. That’s just reality. And it’s despicable that he acts like a jerk to you when you dare to take any time for yourself.
Like…Saturday is for his hobbies, Sunday is for him to relax…and I’m gonna go out on a limb and suggest he’s probably not doing 50/50 baby and household duty after work during the week either.
At this point you need to sit him down and be clear that he’s going to be an equal parent or you two aren’t going to be together anymore. Don’t ask permission or apologize for taking care of yourself and taking the same amount of personal time that he does. If he won’t step up, being a single parent would be easier than this.
