Listen, I’m about to blow your mind. When you use something that has a fairly universal meaning, only you are using for an alternate meaning, some people might not get it. They may ask about it. When they do, you have at least two options: a) something to the effect of “oh, you may not realize I meant x” or b) condescending assholery.
