I would NEVER appreciate having an ultimatum like that. She may just be saying this out of desperation but I personally wouldn't like the way she put it. I would sit her down and discuss this with her. If you're willing to have another child just tell her that you're willing to do this but having a child is NOT something to force on someone. If not then just stay in your daughter's life. To be brutally honest, how successful do you think a 40 year old with a kid is going to be in landing a guy whose willing to immediately commit to having a child with her?
