Love is all good and well for the night or on weekends when you have nothing to do and need company, but the world requires real world efforts to create real world solutions. Love doesn't play well here. It's has no practical application when one has aspirations and goals.
He needs to make meaningful contributions otherwise you've got a freeloader to deal with. You work while he sits on his ass and does nothing. He'll guilt trip you into it too because that's what freeloaders do. So what if you have extra money feom your scholarship. That's your business, not his and he shouldn't expect to profit off that if he isn't making any efforts.
So many people on here think love actually matters in situations like this. All that happens is that 10 years in the future, you'll be stuck in the same place. Love can be found anywhere. It doesn't have to be with him.
