I am an academic who had a friend from grad school sleep with one of his students. He was fired and unable to find work at a university. This sort of behavior would get me fired. It is a fundamental abuse of power.
Whether or not you report him is up to you. But, he is likely to sleep with other students in the future. Unless it is a religious school, the issue not a teacher or professor having sex, it is a fundamental abuse of power that can take advantage of a young person who likely has significant personal issues.
