First of all, guys tend to get better at sex as they get older and gain more experience. So comparing your high school boyfriend to your college boyfriend isn't really accurate. It's highly likely that your first boyfriend has better skills at this point and you just don't know it.
As far as your hookups being bad, hookups are usually bad for women. In a hookup or one night stand scenario, guys are usually selfish and don't care about pleasing the woman at all. Most women never cum during hookups.
In adult relationships, there are skilled men who are happy to please you. Granted, even in relationships there are some selfish guys out there. But “she comes first” should be the standard in any relationship (the crappy ones who don't meet that standard are too selfish to be worth your time). But my last boyfriend always made sure I came first, and so does my current partner. Both of them are guys determined to make sure their partner cums multiple times before they do. So, yes, you can find another guy like that. They do exist. And as you age, you will find more men who like to please you. Just not during hookups.
